About
"Sunset Cabin" is a beautiful oceanfront townhome ideally located in South Bay, one of Destin's gated Gulf Front communities. Our sliding doors open right up to the our decks on the beach! If you are ready for a good swim or beach stroll, head down our sidewalk to the beach boardwalk access. We have a community gazebo with covered seating overlooking the waves and an outside shower for easy sand cleanup. After a day at the beach or our community pool, you can wander out to our nearby award winning restaurants, fabulous shops, and our numerous attractions helping you make your vacation dreams come true.
Our charming vacation home has been completely renovated with comfort, function and beauty in mind. Our living and sleeping areas are divided over 3 floors, providing substantial private space and private Gulf front decks, along with a great room on the 2nd floor for family and friends to congregate. You can enjoy the breath taking views from the living room/dining area/kitchen on the second floor while cooking, dining, watching movies, playing games or cat napping. Our three large Gulf facing balconies are the best places to watch our incredible sunsets! There is plenty of seating in the living area around our coffee/game table and large Smart TV, with an open floor plan for easy socialization. The dining table has 6 dining chairs; the kitchen island has an additional 3 seats with generous counter space. Our kitchen is well stocked and lit for the chef in your family.
Make yourself at home in any of our 3 master suites! The 3rd floor has a large Gulf front king suite with a good size ocean front deck and an ensuite bathroom. This suite has access to a bonus kids bedroom with 3 twin beds and a large Smart TV. You must enter the bonus bedroom through the master bedroom. On the first floor we have a Gulf front king suite with an ensuite bathroom and a private deck, as well as a queen suite each with an ensuite bathroom. Both of these first floor bedroom suites have spacious closets and TV's.
Guests have access to South Bay's community pool and two lighted tennis courts.
This property has one tennis court, two pickleball courts and two shuffle board courts. The tennis and pickleball court are first come first serve and bring your own equipment. The shuffle board court you can make an reservation and they supply the equipment.
This property comes with one assigned parking space. Overflow parking is at first come first serve basis.
No parking for RV'S or Trailers.
No Golf Carts allowed at this property.
Starter Pack: We provide our guests with Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial pack is depleted.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Beyond Blue was very helpful if I needed anything. This condo is really beautiful and we love just about everything about it. There's just a few small things that need updating. The TV in the living room is about to go out. The mattress in the master bedroom is not very comfortable. Other then that everything is fantastic.

Great location. Great view of the ocean.
Plenty of room for everyone.
Shopping, dining, entertainment and grocery stores close.
Never did get my check in info of the app but i emailed them and got what i needed.
Beds and pillows not very comfortable. Lots of centipedes, but that could be from being right on the beach.
Grill did not work but had all other items we needed for cooking and eating.
Would stay here again! We loved it. Watched dolphins from the top bedroom window.

The unit was nicely remodeled. The kitchen was more than well stocked. The back porch was our favorite place to just sit and watch the ocean.

We were able to enjoy this beautiful home by the gulf with the best view! We saw dolphins every morning while sipping our coffee or doing yoga on the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed. Steps to the beach. Everything about this trip was wonderful. Hurricane Ian went around us and we never saw a drop of rain.

Place located in a prime area, easy and convenient access to all your needs while on vacation! House is well kept with nice appliances. Stairs are not ideal and also not advertised in listing. I would not recommend for an older crowd, steps can be daunting after a while. The convenience of every room having a bath was perfect! *bottom room did have sand on bed comforter Easy access to beach and beautiful views. Host was not as responsive once vacation dates started... hours or a day to respond. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others

Viewing the pics choosing this property, the major selling point was the deck furniture with tall patio chairs to see over the deck railing. A huge disappointment with short patio chairs , couldn’t see the waves unless we stood up. First floor patio was dirty, no furniture, door was so heavy to open. A few minor issues with 2nd floor tv cable, ceiling fans, but management was very quick to fix. Location to beach was literally steps away, as was the pool! The decor, amenities in the kitchen were great, beds comfortable. Very clean. A broom to keep the floors swept couldn’t be found but there is one there now! I hope they leave it for next tenant.Will definitely be back. Oh and the fireworks from the beach on the 4th of July unbelievably awesome!!

This property was perfect for our family! It was on the beach and the rooms were spread out, so it made things easy with our infant and the other family staying with us. The property was clean, central to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was very nice having balconies on all 3 floors. The Manager was very responsive and helpful throughout the week as well. Would definitely return and recommend to a friend.

I just got back from a week long stay with my parents (in their upper 60’s), husband, and 3 young-ish kids (9,6,2). In general we had a great stay, but wish we would have known a few things in advance. The inside of the townhouse is great, but has a lot of stairs. The outside needs some work, and we would have appreciated having furniture on the top deck and bottom deck. The beach is wonderful and can be accessed by taking a short walk to the bridge leading down to the beach. We really did not like having the umbrellas and chairs (which cost $38/day to rent) taking up the entire front part of the beach. There are many homeowners that own chairs/umbrellas and receive beach service. The guy setting them up was very rude and dismissive. You can only set up chairs/towels,etc. on specific parts of the beach. This was our first time in Destin, but we have been to beaches all over the world, and hadn’t experienced that. Other than those issues, it was a nice townhouse in a good location.

It would be helpful to have more than 2 garbage bags when you are staying a week. Air conditioning up stairs wasn’t working staff from beyond blue were very helpful and had the issue repaired in 24 hours.

Wow!! This place is amazing! The view is beautiful and the inside is just as great! We had everything we needed and more! There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children! We loved the extra beds so we were able to put the kids together in one room. Access to the beach is a 1 minute walk. We will absolutely be coming again!
